May Roundup and Monthly Musings
Animalistic stretching, voice transcription, AI automations, painting
Welcome to monthly musings! This is a once per month email (not my usual programming), where I share random things that have tickled my fancy over the past four weeks. Some will be related to the content of this newsletter, and others…well…won’t be.
Hope you enjoy a little glimpse into my world!
A better way of stretching - Animal style
I can’t get enough of the Strength Side animalistic movement routines.
Ever since a family holiday to Türkiye a few years ago where I tried myofascial stretching, I’ve been obsessively trying to find someone who does this kind of massage. But I never thought to check YouTube! Until I did. Now I’ve been following Josh and I’ve got to say these routines are wonderful. They really limber me up.
The only reason we lose mobility as we age is because we stop moving like we did when we were kids. So, as I type this and watch my 6 year old and 2 year old walking around the playroom like polar bears and lions, I realised how true this really is.
These routines are awesome, especially this one.
My favourite AI tools at the moment
Voice Transcription
If, like me, you do some of your best thinking whilst walking, you should be making the most out of voice transcription. Those with the latest iPhone can use the Notes Memo app and just click the three dots to ‘view transcription’ on their latest recording.
I personally use Elevenlabs’ transcription service (I have an older iPhone model). I’ve found it really useful when I just don’t have the time to type everything out. You can get 10,000 free credits using this link.
Meeting Transcription
I like to use Fireflies for my meeting transcriptions - it has a useful API that can be connected to various automations. But I know there is a lot of buzz about Fathom as well, which I believe is completely free, but might not have as many features as Fireflies. To be honest there are hundreds of these types of tools out there, just sharing what works for me.
AI solutions I’ve been building
I’ve added the following automation blueprints to the premium content library this month:
This brilliant automation is simple and helps you get paid faster! Invoicing is one of those processes that most people don’t enjoy doing, especially if you’re not using any fancy software. But now it can be simple and free!
If you’re bored of getting the same generic responses from your AI models then here’s a great way to train your model on exactly what you sound like, so that it gives you results that you don’t have to spend the time you’ve freed up, editing.
Another cool automation that can create competitor intelligence reports that give you real-time info about what your competitors are doing with their products, offers, prices, you name it! A very handy tool for anyone wishing to stay ahead in their game.
Did you know that WhatsApp could be a source of revenue for you when pushed to its capabilities? In this automation, I’ve created a simple report that summarises your groups / chats - perfect if you use WhatsApp to engage with your customers. It can give you some excellent insights without you having to trawl through every message.
My latest creative pursuit
I’ve been obsessed with painting lately and with only 10 mins to spare per day, I’ve finally finished a painting of my beautiful babies. It’s taken me around three months, but now I have a lovely keepsake for our bare unrenovated walls.

Automation doesn't necessarily mean AI. I proposed to two directors of an architectural firm that I would set up a technical Revit library for educational projects. Two months of work! Then, a 10 million school would be designed in two weeks!
One director agreed, yet the main director rejected the idea.
