Automation doesn't necessarily mean AI. I proposed to two directors of an architectural firm that I would set up a technical Revit library for educational projects. Two months of work! Then, a 10 million school would be designed in two weeks!
One director agreed, yet the main director rejected the idea.
I apologise; Revit is a 3D design program. The library contains 3D Revit models that can be imported into your design model, so the early design process becomes automated. e.g. select a school hall, classroom, and import them, which speeds up the design process.

(We never discussed a price/fee)
Of course you’re right it doesn’t. I like to use AI in my automations.
Wow, that would have been a really cool project Karl! Did you ever find out why the other director rejected the idea?
This happened after 3 months in the company. He had problems with the BIM manager and felt I was moving too quickly.
That’s a shame. If only they could have put their egos aside - lots of kids somewhere would have benefitted from an amazing new school.

Makes sense. Sounds like a great tool for architects!
